Where is the retreat held?
The retreat takes place in Dalyan, a charming town on Türkiye’s Turquoise Coast. Famous for its river, natural hot springs, lush countryside and beautiful beaches where the protected Loggerhead Turtles nest, Dalyan offers the perfect balance of relaxation, culture, nature and adventure.
Who is the retreat for?
Our holidays are designed for Muslim men and women of all ages who want to try something a bit different as well as relax, recharge and connect with like-minded people. Whether you’re travelling solo, celebrating a special occasion, or looking for a meaningful break, you’ll find a welcoming community here.
Is this a religious retreat?
No. Whilst we aim to make it as spiritually uplifting as we can, this is not a religious retreat. Our days will, of course, factor in our salah times and depending on where we are, we will always try to attend prayers in mosques.
We want this adventure to be easy and uplifting for all who take part and we welcome everyone, in the full understanding that we are all on our unique journeys in life and faith.
What’s included in the retreat package?
Your package includes:
Accommodation in a private villa, in your own room.
All breakfasts, lunches & dinners
Daily pantry essentials (bread, milk, eggs, fruit, cheese, juices, etc)
Excursions and activities (river cruise, kayaking, jeep safari, hot springs, markets and more)
Local transport and VIP airport transfers
The only extras are your flight and travel insurance. We suggest a robust travel insurance package that includes quad biking and kayaking. Please check your country’s VISA requirements and fees.
What type of rooms are available?
En-suite room: £1650 per person
Standard room: £1450 per person (sole use of the family bathroom)
How do I book my spot?
Simply pay your deposit and we’ll be in contact. Or, if you have any questions and want to speak to us, contact us through our website or email, and we’ll guide you through the process. A deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due 28 days before departure.
How much is the deposit?
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the selected package secures your place. So, if you go for the standard package (3 rooms available) then the deposit is £725 and if you go for the en-suite package (9 rooms available), the deposit is £825.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel, your deposit is non-refundable, but we will always do our best to accommodate changes. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling or transferring your booking.
Are flights included?
Flights are not included in the retreat price. However, we are happy to help you find a flight. There are regular direct flights from most UK airports to Dalaman Airport. Multiple EU cities also fly direct or via Istanbul. Wherever you are in the world, we will gladly help you find the right flight, inshAllah.
Return VIP transfers from Dalaman Airport to the villa are also included.
Is the pool private?
Yes! The villa has two completely secluded pools, meaning you can swim freely and relax and completely relax.
What kind of swimming costume should I bring?
Any kind of modest swimwear you are most comfortable in.
What type of activities can I expect?
You’ll enjoy a mix of relaxation, culture and adventure, including:
Dalyan river cruise
Sea kayaking
Visit to natural hot springs
Market visit
Local mosques
Quad biking
Jeep safari & fire circle evening
Relaxed villa days with creative sharing & sisterhood
Do I have to take part in all the activities?
No - but we would miss you! Also, the package price includes all the excursions and we can’t refund this money if you decide not to attend. If you don’t want to take part in something or you’re not feeling up to it, then you can of course stay at the villa and enjoy some R&R. But - as we said… we would miss you!
What will I eat?
You’ll enjoy traditional Turkish breakfasts, home-style meals and special dinners in local restaurants. The villa will be stocked daily with fresh essentials and we’ll also experience authentic local food such as gözleme and a riverside kavulta breakfast. All meals are halal and alcohol-free and vegetarian options will always be available. Please do inform us if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! You can come alone, with a friend, with your family… you can come with your entire friendship group or work colleagues or bridal party! But if you want to come alone - you will not be alone for long! This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to make new, lasting friendships.
Are the activities suitable to all fitness levels?
Yes. Activities are designed to be enjoyable and accessible. Some excursions (like kayaking or quad biking) are more active, but not overly strenuous. There will always be space to rest if required.
Do I have to be able to swim?
For some of the activities like sea kayaking, a basic level of swimming ability and confidence swimming in the sea is required. Life jackets and training will be provided.
However, there is no pressure to take part in this activity and a different activity will be offered if you decide not to take part.
How many people will be attending?
Group size will be no more than 12. This ensures a personal, community feel where everyone has the chance to connect.
Do I need travel insurance?
Definitely! We recommend that all sisters take out personal travel insurance to cover flights, health and unexpected cancellations. Within this insurance we recommend you stipulate that you will be doing quad biking and kayaking.
Is Turkey safe to travel to?
According to the 2025 Muslim Women-Friendly Destination Index, Türkiye (joint with Qatar) ranks second among OIC nations, highlighting it as a leading destination within the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for providing secure, respectful and faith-compatible environments for female travellers.
What should I pack?
We’ll send a suggested packing list before your trip, but essentials include:
At least two swimming suits
A sun hat
Sunglasses
Beach towel
Comfortable, light clothing for excursions
A light jacket or shawl for evenings
Your favourite ayat, Hadith, book, poem, or saying (to share during group reflections).
